Tour Itinerary and Inclusions
Day 1 — Journey to Banaue (Approx. 10-hour drive)
5:30 AM — Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or the airport as your journey to the mountains begins. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel through different cities and provinces on the way to Banaue. Along the journey, we will make two to three scenic stops, including a lunch break at a local restaurant.
By afternoon, we arrive at the Banaue Viewpoint for your first glimpse of the world-famous Rice Terraces — a breathtaking introduction to the Cordilleras.
Carved into the mountains more than 2,000 years ago by the Ifugao people, the Banaue Rice Terraces are often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World” and are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built entirely by hand and rising approximately 1,500 meters (5,000 feet) above sea level, the terraces stretch across vast mountainsides, reflecting generations of culture, resilience, and harmony with nature.
After the viewpoint visit, we proceed to your accommodation where you can rest and enjoy a peaceful evening in Banaue.
